Day 1 Islamabad: Arrival and Gentle Introduction

Welcome to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, known for its modern elegance and natural beauty. Meet with your Venus Trails team and you’ll be escorted to your hotel. In the afternoon a short orientation walk around the hotel helps reset your body clock; this is a calm day focused on preparing you physically and mentally. In the evening there’s a full briefing covering safety, trekking logistics, cultural etiquette, and the environmental practices we follow on every trip.

Day 2 Islamabad to Skardu: Gateway to the Karakoram

Fly to Skardu (weather permitting) or drive the Karakoram Highway. Skardu is a high-altitude hub with Balti culture, bazaars, and riverside views. Use this day for gear checks and acclimatization.

Day 4 Hoper Nagar & Berichokore: Trails through hidden Valleys

Day 15 Naran to Islamabad via Taxila:History and Hills

Day 16 Departure from Islamabad

What is the difficulty level of the trek?

The trek is moderate to challenging, with long hiking days, glacier crossings, and high-altitude camps. Optional Rush Peak is strenuous and requires good fitness.

Are meals included?

What about internet and phone connectivity?

Connectivity is limited in high-altitude areas. You can disconnect and enjoy the serenity of the mountains.

Do I need prior trekking experience?

Previous trekking experience is helpful but not mandatory. The guide team will support all skill levels.

Is stargazing possible?
